Product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is a document produced in alignment with the UN's Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) that the manufacturer, importer, or distributor of a chemical product is required to provide to consumers and users.

Product Safety Data Sheets (SDS) contain 16 sections.

• Sections 1 through 8 contain general information about the chemical identification, hazards, composition, safe handling practices, first aid and emergency control measures.
• Sections 9 through 11 contain other technical and scientific information, such as physical and chemical properties, stability and reactivity information, toxicological information, exposure control information.
• The remaining sections 12 through 16 contain ecological, disposal and transport information.
